Information Collection

Information collected may be stored in a file specific to the client. Information may be accepted from 3rd parties. The collection, use, and disclosure of information are done with reason and discretion appropriate to the circumstance.

Information is collected mostly from the client directly for a variety of reasons, including employment representation, for contests or surveys, for notification of updates, and for purposes relating to the continuing management of personnel.

Personal information may be collected for purposes of training, marketing, performance and work history, health and safety, client/business management, and payroll.

Financial information such as tax file numbers, banking details, and information relating to compensation claims may also be collected. Finally, information may also be collected from other personnel and other sources, such as listed references.

Cookies and IP Addresses may be stored in order to track navigation and user sessions, or to help tailor the website to the users interests. Cookies may also be used to validate registered users.

URLs may be logged, tracking what site the user came from and what site he visits next for statistical and marketing research. The company may also track what browser the user uses along with other information such as their city, country, company, and ISP.

Any e-mails submitted to the company by the user become the property of the company.

Collected information may be disclosed in the event of a legal requirement or security breach, or when pertinent to business activities, or by consent. Consent can be expressed verbally or in writing, or it can be implied. The information will not be used for purposes not covered by the initial consent.

Information Access

Clients can contact the companys Privacy Officer/Tech Support directly to withdraw, verify, update, and/or access their information. Reasonable access to the information will be granted to the client within 30 days; notification will be given in case of exception. If the client wishes to cease receiving email notifications and updates they may remove themselves from the mailing list by clicking on the appropriate link on the bottom of the email.

Alternatively: Information can be accessed, altered, or removed by the client at will by logging in to their account with their password on the company website.

Information Security

Reasonable steps will be taken to uphold data security and quality at all times.

Information is kept secure [e.g. onsite on the companys servers, located in Toronto, Ontario; security measures taken, such as firewalls, SSL encryption, etc].

Every employee of the company is aware of the importance of confidentiality and is required to adhere to policies regarding the handling of information, and when required to do so only qualified employees have access to your information. No other client or potential employer has access to your information without your consent. Collected information will be managed appropriately and properly destroyed when called for.

We do not store credit card numbers.
