ISTCL, a provider of end-to-end information technology and business solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as vendor of record (VOR) to provide task-based information technology services for the Government of Ontario (including the OPS and Schedule 1 agencies).

This VOR agreement with the Government of Ontario allows ISTCL to provide professional IT services in areas such as Web services, wireless, ARC-GIS, data warehousing, DB2, Oracle, and Windows environment (9X, NT, 2K, XP).

Vendor of record companies are selected following a rigorous process, with many of Canada's top companies competing for a place on the vendors list. ISTCL has been an information technology vendor of record for the Ontario Government since 2000.

The VOR agreement between ISTCL and the Government of Ontario for task-based information technology services commences on April 1, 2005. It is set to expire on March 31, 2008.

Currently, ISTCL is under consideration by the Government of Ontario for two additional VOR contracts; one for solutions-based information technology consulting services, and the second for business and management consulting services.
