ISTCL is pleased to announce that it has been selected to conduct an Organization Review using Time & Motion Methodology by the Continuing Care eHealth Council for the The Long-Term Care Homes Common Assessment Poject (LTCH CAP) in Ontario.
The announcement is the culmination of work currently being conducted in the sector using different Long-Term Care resident assesment tools. Since ISTCL first coordinated the development and deployment of the temporary InterRAI tools to LTC Homes in Ontario, the sector has moved towards piloting the RAI-MDS system as a permanent solution and engaged ISTCL to undertake a review using Time & Motion in a slection of Homes using both the InterRAI and RAI-MDS Assessment tools.
Through on open RFP competition by the Continuing Care eHealth Council, ISTCL sumitted a winning proposal that outlines our expertise in this area. Over the next few months ISTCL is brining together expertise for this project using a Time &
Motion Specialist, Chartered Statisitican, Analysts and LTC Sector experts. These ISTCL resources will be crossing the Province of Ontario over the next three months visiting LTC Homes and finally ISTCL will report directly to the Ministry on findings and recommendations, scheduled for late September.
