Developing a Business Case for ECHO

istcl has been engaged by “Echo Improving Women's Health in Ontario”
to develop a multi-year business plan based on the Management Board of Cabinet Directive on Agency Establishment and Accountability (AEAD). This plan will include:
- The mandate of the Agency as described in the Regulation
- The Agency’s Vision and Mission Statements
- The corporate governance structure
- Yearly reporting requirements, consistent with the multi-year reporting framework.
- Overview of agency’s current and forthcoming programs/activities
- A system of performance measurement including annual baseline reporting and quarterly monitoring systems, to include commitments to attain specific performance indicators and targets of the impact on women’s health over time and measureable financial accountability.
- Strategic direction for ECHO
- A description of ECHO’s activities during the 2009/2010 fiscal year
- Recommendations to assist the organization in meeting its strategic direction, including; resourcing, fiscal requirements, staff compliments, compensation strategy, risk assessment and partnership opportunities.
Outcomes of this work will lead to specific components of the strategy which include:
- Report Card format for reporting on ECHO activities
- Development of ECHO web site
- Response to launch of POWER Study Report
- Procedure for public consultations
